Day 127 - May 7, 2010

Almost every time that we go to the park, the kids want to swing. It is kind of funny since we have perfectly good swings in the backyard. They love to swing. And I guess I can't complain about it since at least in this park, the swings are in the shade, unlike our backyard.

Snack break. Cream cheese on crackers for Susannah and pretzel sticks for Heath.

Day 124 - May 4, 2010

Here is Susannah helping her brother with a puzzle. It started out as Susannah doing the puzzle but then Heath had to get in on the action. But that is the way siblings work.

Day 123 - May 3, 2010

More pretend for the Smith kids. As usual, they were being kitties. And they said that they were hungry so they have bowls of cat food a.k.a. cereal. Heath used his "paw" but Susannah ate from the bowl with her mouth. I remember doing that as a kid too.

Day 122 - May 2, 2010

Since Sunday is turning out to be family adventure day, we headed out to another local park. Here are the kids at Pace Bend Park. Unfortunately, Heath wasn't feeling that well and refused to have his shoes on, thus didn't actually walk one step in the park. He didn't get his exercise in but Matt and I sure did carrying him the entire time.

This afternoon we took a trip to the Austin Zoo since we hadn't been there in several months. Here are the kids checking out the turtles.
