Day 181 - June 30, 2010

Here are the kids having a birthday party. I don't exactly remember whose party it was but they were both singing away. See that extra arm on the side? That's my friend Shari's son Jack who was joining in on the singing.

Day 180 - June 29, 2010

The kids have really been into puzzles lately. A couple of weeks ago, a friend gave us some vehicle puzzles and it rekindled the kids interest in puzzles.

Day 179 - June 28, 2010

Here are the kids riding "horses" and having a snack. Heath's horse is a baseball bat and Susannah's horse is a broom.

Day 178 - June 27, 2010

We went to Krause Springs today for a family adventure of swimming. Unfortunately, the picture that I took of the kids was too hard. I hadn't realized that my flash didn't go off. So I grabbed a quick picture of the kids enjoying popicles on the porch after riding their bikes in the driveway. Heath declared that popicles are messy. Yes, son, they are. That is why you are eating them outside :)

Day 177 - June 26, 2010

Here's a silly picture of the kids. Originally, Heath and Susannah were laying on the floor with their butts up in the air pretending to take a nap. But when I came over with the camera, they both moved and I couldn't get the shot. Susannah looks really happy in this picture so it was a nice replacement shot.

Day 176 - June 25, 2010

I think that the kiddie pool is going to be our new home for the next couple of months. The kids really enjoy splashing around in it. It was around 97 degrees today so I am thankful for the tiny amount of tree shade that we have. In the shade, it didn't feel as hot.

Day 175 - June 24, 2010

Susannah did this to Heath a couple of days ago but I couldn't get a good picture of it. She was doing it again today and I just had to try to get a picture because it is so cute. Susannah is holding a water pen that goes along with an Aquadoodle pad. She is pretending that the water pen is makeup. She was applying it to her face as blush and on her fingernails and toenails as nail polish. Heath saw what she was doing and immediately sat down, took off his socks and started to request that she paint his toenail as well. It was very sweet.
